Meal Prepping | Super Easy Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Chicken

If you’re part of the social media world on Facebook, then I am sure you’ve seen some friends or family members prepping their meals for the week. I wanted to share a quick and easy recipe that I tried for the first time and had great success with. Crock-Pot brown sugar chicken… YES it is definitely as good as it sounds.

I actually found this recipe on Pinterest, so I’m not taking any credit for coming up with this delicious dish. But it was definitely something I needed to share today, because it was SO good!

Also let me just put a disclaimer here. I am a 20 year old trying to cook more than just Kraft Dinner. So trust me when I say I am not an expert, but am definitely a food connoisseur because food is LIFE.



You will neeeeedddddddd ALL THE THINGS:

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar packed


  • So first off add your chicken to the bottom of your crock-Pot
  • Then add the garlic, salt, and pepper
  • Mix it up and then flip the chicken skin side up
  • Sprinkle on the brown sugar
  • Turn on your crock-Pot and cook on high for 6 hours. Or on low for 8-9 hours


Once your crock-Pot has turned off and your chicken is finished, I would recommend pulling apart the chicken while it’s still in the Crock-Pot. Then let it sit on warm in there for about 10 minutes or so. I found this provided the best possible flavor. Y’all trust me on this.

I’ve had this chicken with multiple different sides this week. Including mashed potatoes, veggies, a chicken sandwich, and rice as well. So many different dishes go well with this chicken. And it’s so easy — that’s definitely my favorite part. Crock-Pot dishes are definitely my new go to. Do you guys have a favorite dish that you make in your crock-Pot?
