3 Ingredient Healthy Cookies — Sweets That You Can Crave Without Feeling Guilty!

Hey there! How are you today? What’s the weather like where you live? Leave a comment below, I’m so curious! Yesterday we accumulated 25 cms of snow in total. I am so excited about it honestly. ❄

So I actually saw this recipe on the Tasty Instagram page. It’s such a simple cookie to make, as it’s made with only 3 ingredients: Bananas, oats, & cinnamon. That’s it! And the best part about these yummy cookies is that you do not have to feel guilty for eating one! (or two)

Okay, let’s just jump right in!


STEP 1

To begin I defrosted my bananas. This took a little over an hour, and now that they are completely defrosted we can begin mixing the ingredients.

In my mixing bowl I am going to add my bananas and use a masher to mash them up. I like to mash up the bananas until I have achieved a liquid consistency, then I add in my oats. I personally do not use exact measurements, I find using your best judgement is best. You obviously want to add enough oats so that it’s a thicker consistency. So mash up your bananas in your mixing bowl and then add your oats so that they look something like this:

Now mix it all together!


STEP 2

Now that you have your banana and oats all mixed in together, it’s time to add your cinnamon. I LOVE cinnamon, so more the better!

This is optional, but I like to add a few chocolate chips as well! So if you’d like to do the same, add those in now.




STEP 3

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees!

While I wait for my oven to preheat I like to chill the mixture in the fridge.

Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper and begin adding the mixture to it. I would recommend making smaller sized cookies, as they tend to cook better.

Depending on your oven; cook for 15-20 minutes or until the bottoms are brown. And now let them cool! VOILA! That’s it you guys. You have made a healthy but delicious cookie. My boyfriend even approves of them, which is impressive!
